Does Norristown Brick also install pavers and slabs?
No, we are only a supplier for hardscape and landscape products. However, we are more than happy to work with contractors to help bring the vision to life!
Do you only supply commercial sized orders?
Absolutely not! Not only will we fill residential orders, but we have installation guides on our website to help provide some great tips on your next DIY project.
Can I get these materials delivered?
You sure can! Visit our resident page to see what areas we deliver to.
How do I know how much material I will need for my project?
We usually tell customers, use a minimum of 6″ of base material for walkways, 6″- 8″ for patios, and 10″-12″ for driveways. You will also need a setting bed which should be 1″ thick. One ton of modified stone or sand will cover 100 sf at 2″ thick. For example a 10’x10′ (100 sf) patio would need 1⁄2 ton of sand for the setting bed (1″ thick) and three tons of modified stone for the base (6″ thick). It’s also always good to be prepared with about 5% more (or about two bags) Polymeric Sand for the joints between the pavers.
Do you only sell bricks and pavers?
Here at Norristown Brick, we are proud to supply a large variety of both hardscaping and landscaping materials. We offer pavers, slate, gravel, seed, fertilizer, and so much more!
Can I use pavers around my pool?
Pavers are not only a great aesthetic choice for around your pool, but they offer a great non-slip surface. Pavers are also a good option because the joints will take on moisture and help keep them cooler in the summer. Just be sure that the base material around the pool is well compacted before installing pavers.
What are the benefits of going with pavers for my driveway instead of asphalt or concrete?
There are actually a lot of benefits to choosing laid pavers over a poured material. The most important to a lot of people is that our pavers won’t crack due to changes in weather and wear and tear. Another benefit is that stone pavers can be easily removed and replaced if there is ever a need to get to a pipe or other underground utilities.
