Grass Seed & Fertilizers

This is a combination fertilizer that is effective at controlling grubs. Grubs are larvae that eventually develop into Japanese beetles and can destroy a lawn by feeding on the grass roots below the surface. The active ingredient, Imidacloprid, is a systemic and foliar insecticide that kills grubs as they are developing. The fertilizer has 20% SCU (Sulfur Coated Urea) for disbursement of nitrogen for up to 30 days after application. Typically applied mid-May to mid-July.

Snapshot is a premium ornamental bed (garden) pre-emergent that provides up to eight months of control for over 100 broadleaf and grassy weeds without harming other plants and flowers. When applied to ornamental beds it blocks these weeds from germinating, reducing the amount of weeds that will need to be pulled later.

Razor Pro is a non-selective herbicide, meaning it is designed to suppress any plant it comes in contact with. Comparable to “Round-Up”, it is a broad spectrum glyphosate with a 14% surfactant level, increasing the adhesion of the product to the plants it comes in contact with.

Surge is a water based broadleaf herbicide. It is highly selective, meaning it will attack weeds while leaving the grass unharmed. Surge is effective in controlling over 80 broadleaf weeds and also works to suppress Nutsedge, a grass weed.

Seed Aide is expanding cellulose/wood fiber much in a granular form that enhances germination and seedling emergence by holding seed in place and absorbing water. It contains a tackifier that once moistened reduces soil erosion, water run-off and seed wash out. Mulch contains no weed seeds or grass seed and can be applied with a spreader.

This can be put down 2-4 times per year on a lawn as a substitute for lime to balance PH and provide ideal soil conditions.
